Fresh Pond Podiatry was formerly the clinic of Dr. Steven Levitz, who served the Ridgewood community for greater than 4 decades. This wonderful human was beloved by his patients, neighbors, colleagues, friends and family. Dr. Levitz is an institution that will not soon be forgotten.
We are honored to carry on the legacy of the late and great, Dr. Steven Levitz.
We, at Fresh Pond Podiatry, literally have big shoes to fill. Dr. Vito La Puma and his team have taken over his practice and tastefully renovated the space and offer all the modern treatments available in the field of podiatry.
Even though the office space has been updated, the love and care for the members of the queens community will carry on.

Owning a practice in Manhattan for over 10 years, Dr. Vito La Puma specializes in both surgical and nonsurgical treatments of a variety of foot and ankle conditions.
He is a board-certified podiatric physician with thousands of surgical procedures under his belt, including treatments for bunions, hammertoes, heel pain, congenital deformities, diabetic foot care and sports-related injuries.
Dr. La Puma received extensive training in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery during his time as chief resident at Brooklyn Hospital.
